Dahlia, Rocco  Dahlia hybrida   

Mostly burgundy but moving towards fuschia as the days shorten, cute, abundant pom pon (or button) dahlias up to 1” across.  Excellent filler or accent flowers; also great for flower crowns, corsages, and other wearables.  Prolific blooms!  Native to Mexico where the Aztecs called them “ cocoxochitl or acocotli“.  Grown by SSF.
