Community Seed Bank Collections

As a long time organic farmer - I see the basic foundational elements of a stable society as the following 4 things:

• Clean Air,

• Clean Water,

• Living Soils and

• A diverse open pollinated Seed system.

From this foundation - culture can flourish and all its beauty can be available (ideally to all people), including food, justice, dignity, education, health care, and peace.

While we hope that all people have access to clean air, water and living soil, there is not much that we as a small seed company can do to proliferate the abundance of these 3 elements.  Seeds are something that we can help you with!

It is our sincere belief that every watershed where people live on the planet would be well served with a diverse, open pollinated Community Seed Bank.  To encourage this goal, we are offering 3 different sized tiers of community seed banks.  In some ways this is similar to our Community Supported Seed Program, however, it differs in that we will mail you all the seeds in one shipment.

We chose the varieties, but rest assured they will include a wide diversity of vegetables, flowers, small grains, culinary herbs and some key medicinal herbs too.  The larger options will include bulk packets of the crops for which you'd want to have plenty of seed (like peas, carrots, corn and beans).

We will also be including a basic seed saving guide and some basic growing instructions with every kit.

BASIC KIT: $250 for 75 packets (a 16% savings over buying individually at retail)

INTERMEDIATE KIT: $500 (a 25% savings)

ADVANCED KIT: $1000 (a 30% savings)
