We obtained this beautiful soy bean at a seed swap however it was collected in North Korea and contributed in 1998 by Randy Ireson, American Friends Service Committee (USDA Accession PI 612610.). Musan requires a fairly long season to mature but, if long enough, then it rewards growers with an abundance of pods for fresh shelling Edamame beans. Beans are bicolor blond and black. Flowers are white. Multi branched plants grow to about 36” tall. Very high in protein (from 53-61%). SSF.
