MARIGOLD, Cempoalxóchitl

This variety was gifted to us during a visit to New Mexico from Seeds Of Change. This is a landrace variety cultivated in Mexico. This flower grows to 4-5 feet tall and 3-4 feet wide producing a great many SINGLE and few double petaled orange flowers that are all abuzz with pollinators of all sorts later in the season. Another common name for this plant is Cempasúchil. Makes a great dye plant!

It is important to note there are more than one species of marigold with these names. As this plant was gifted to us under this name we make it available under the same name.
