Dahlia, Cabana Banana, Dahlia hybrida 

A high yielding cactus-type dahlia up to 6” across.  Lemon yellow background with soft pink tips.  As flowers mature they become more lemon and generally the color moves this direction into the Fall.  Always an eye-catcher because of its large and distinctive form.  Native to Mexico where the Aztecs called them “ cocoxochitl or acocotli“
