German Butterball is a truly wonderful potato: creamy, rich, dense, buttery and a little flaky with deep golden flesh. Known for holding together when cooked until tender, this is an all purpose-steaming, baking, frying, and mashing potato.
Medium size, oval, golden, netted yellow skin with shallow eyes.
Plants have high tuber set and exhibit disease resistance. A vigorous, upright grower that is known for being relatively easy to grow. Excellent heat tolerance. Good storage.
