Capsicum annum

This landrace comes from Katishtya (San Felipe Pueblo) in New Mexico. Plants grow to 30” tall and produce abundant yields of medium-small chilies that are 2” long by ¾” wide and a deep brick red in color. Their flavor is a pleasant sweet-hot and they lend themselves well to roasting to spice up any meal. Their shape is slightly wrinkled and curved which makes them quite attractive.
