Very beautiful and unique addition to salads with green leaves with wide, deep, maroon red veins and stems.  Flavor is a pleasant, tangy lemon flavor much like the French Sorrel.  Perennial growth that flowers in the second year.  Very easy to grow and quite hardy once established.
