Beans, Provider, Bush (55-70 days) Phaseolus vulgaris  

An old workhorse variety that grows vigorously even amidst cooler conditions, as it has good resistance to viruses and mildew.  Produces heavy, concentrated sets of uniform green beans that lend themselves well to fresh market use or canning.  Succession plantings sustain yield over the summer.  Handsome purple dry beans can be used as a soup bean, too.  BBF & SRF
