Also known as Spanish nigella, Delft Blue’s white petals are splashed with a deep blue-purple color and flowers have an intricate deep purple center.  Flowers senesce quickly and give way to interesting angular seed pods that can be used fresh or dried.  While Love-In-A-Mist is truly blue, Delft Blue has a more purple tone but is equally delicate, airy and fascinating.  An annual that grows up to 24”; space 6” apart.
