Plant produces good yields of 2" long by 2" wide ballon shapped chilies. They are thin walled and great for drying as anchos.  Flavor is medium hot with a pleasant smokey flavor.  Fruits turn from green to a satiny brick red when mature. Plant has green stems, green leaves, and white flowers and grows to about 30" tall.  Excellent for mole sauces. A variety from Oaxaca, Mexico in the Ancho / Poblano type.
