We received this wonderful garden treat from seedkeeper, Rowen White and are pleased with its early maturity.  Black eyed peas are a crop that thrives in warm SE climates, so this strain appears adapted to the cooler night time temperatures here in the west.  Pods are 6-8” long and presented above the foliage making harvest a breeze.  They can be shelled fresh or dried.  SSF
