Solanum esculentum (70 days) 

A fine old Italian heirloom paste tomato that actually tastes good fresh, unlike the many mealy roma types out there. It is highly disease resistant to most common tomato foliar and fruit ailments. Does not require staking as it produces its fruit in a concentrated set. Suitable for sauce, drying and other canning projects. Fruits are 2-3 ounces, oblong and bright red. From a trial of a dozen paste tomatoes that we did in 2015 this was our most productive variety. Determinate.
